You can now also book to do a low cost online English Language course run by University College Cork (UCC) The Celta low cost English language lessons online will be for 11 weeks from June 9 to August 21. These lessons which will be delivered by teachers who are training to become English language teachers and are supervised by our experienced teachers in our Language Centre. The lessons will help you to make progress in all aspects of English language. You will receive 36 hours of classes for €50. Before coming on to the course we will give you a short test online to establish your level of English and to place you in the correct class. Classes are from 2 to 4pm (Irish time) every Tuesday and Friday afternoon. On completion of the course if you have more than 80% attendance you will be given a certificate of attendance and description of your English language level. You must have a computer/tablet/phone with a camera and microphone that has a strong and stable connection to the Internet and a quiet place to take the classes.
