Last night the Taoiseach, on behalf of the Government of Ireland, placed extra restrictions on all people in Ireland to STOP THE SPREAD of the Corona Virus.
He said that he was very happy with everyone's efforts to date and those efforts had resulted in the rate of increase of the virus spread slowing down. However, there are still big problems remaining:
1. 50% of all cases are caused by "community Spread" - that is picking the virus in common spaces
2. There many cases amongst health workers and in community areas for elderly people
3. There is rapidly increasing number of people who have be put into Intensive Care Units and these are in short supply in Ireland
So IRELAND NEEDS EVERYONE TO DO THERE BIT TO STOP THE SPREAD - it's in all our interests!
The measures are summarised below. If anyone in a Direct Provision Centre has any questions or concerns about what is required, they can talk to the Centre Management or get in contact with us in Brij : Brijcork@gmail.com
