From Deirdre Martin - Volunteer & Former Chairperson BRIJ

On Wednesday morning last, 31st March 2021, I got an early Easter present....

I was called for my first Covid vaccine 😄. It was all so easy and only took 20 minutes in all. Getting the injection really didn't hurt. I was a bit tired after it and my arm was sore for a day or so but I am feeling fine since. And it is all free.
I am feeling very lucky as this will protect me from getting very sick from Covid......or much worse!

For explanations about the COVID vaccine from a Doctor & in your own language -see the videos on this website here -/>
